JLL’s DC Team is excited to share with you “Workplace Ambitions,” the story of our recent office relocation. Day in and day out, our team of experts works with clients across all industries to help them realize real estate goals. For us, our office relocation gave us the perfect opportunity to practice what we preach. We know that the nature of work has changed dramatically over the last decade and we wanted to design a workplace that reflected those changes and supported our business ambitions.

As we tell all of our clients, the most important part of any workplace journey is getting to know yourself, and over the next few weeks, we’ll share with you what we learned. To learn more about ourselves, we dug into the way we work, the way we meet, and the way we gather during the day. We even studied how much coffee we drink and where we eat lunch.

So how did our findings translate into an office that we are proud to call our new home?  By leveraging the power of the JLL platform, engaging our workforce and working as a team, we were able to provide our employees with a workplace that works for us. As we share our story, our goals and our process, we hope you realize that our story can be your story. But this story is more than the story of how we found our new home at 2020 K Street.
